THE FRIENDS OF
THE MUSEUM

The Friends of the Museum were formed in 1991. Since then, their volunteers have tirelessly staffed the museum and shop.

Without the Friends, there would be no Old Gaol.

2022 sees the Old Gaol seek to get the vital work of the Friends recognised with the Queens Award for Voluntary Service.
